We are pleased to announce our intention to provide our Enterprise Edition clients with a new cyber threat warranty program. The program is intended to provide our customers with financial compensation in the event damages are caused by an advanced persistent threat (APT) attack that is not detected by our MazeRunner deception platform.
This warranty program is our way of displaying our confidence in MazeRunner’s performance and ability to offer effective protection to a network against APTs that perform lateral movements. If our product fails to detect an APT in a portion of our client’s network that is sufficiently covered by a MazeRunner deception campaign – and in accordance to the terms and conditions of our warranty – we will be offering said client compensation for damages the attack causes, to the sum of twice the cost of the annual licensing fee, up to $1,000,000.
We feel confident enough to say that if our product doesn’t properly detect activity it should have detected, our customers should be compensated for the damages caused by such a failure. We are pleased to be able give our customers this extra layer of protection, as it’s time the security industry started standing behind its promises to customers. We’re putting our money where our mouth is.
The warranty is meant to complement customers’ existing cyber-insurance policies as they navigate an increasingly sophisticated and dangerous cyber risk environment.
Cymmetria’s MazeRunner Enterprise Edition Warranty is immediately available to existing and new customers and can be added on to any enterprise-level contract. Cymmetria’s free version of its product, the MazeRunner Community Edition, is not covered by this warranty.
